I am married with four grown daughters. Matriculating through the Graduate Counseling MFT program at Indiana Wesleyan University confirms the call to this field. As a trauma informed counselor my goal is helping families navigate through trauma, learn communication skills and create new legacies. We will work together to promote growth, flexibility, unlock defenses, evoke honest emotion, enhance self-esteem and individuation to improve emotional well being and functioning of the family. The truth is, we will experience loss, setbacks, disappointments and deep hurts at some point in our lives. We will develop skills of self-regulation, proper response to trauma, grief and loss, and difficulties that arise. You are stronger than you think.
